Twelve years back we had a dream of sharing valuable pearls of wisdom from Ayurveda with the ailing society for betterment of health and we started 8 pager bimonthly “DAV’s Ayurveda Health Bulletin” which received good response from readers. In year 2006, this eight pager health bulletin took the shape of 45 pager “DAV’s Ayurveda For Holistic Health” magazine, it was started as black and white magazine with colored title page and it became an instant hit among the Health conscious circle of society. Another leap was taken in March 2008 when “DAV’s Ayurveda For Holistic Health” became first Ayurvedic e-magazine with domain and it became available free of cost to everyone, now we are having largest number of subscriber for our magazine on internet in all parts of world. To give this magazine more natural and colorful look in May 2010 total magazine was converted into fully colored magazine. Although cost of the printing the magazine increased significantly, we are somehow managing to continue publishing magazine in present form.

Contents of Magazine

Ayurveda for holistic health is not only a magazine signifying the mere collection of write ups related with health issues but a commitment to make people aware of the methods and potential of remaining healthy through Ayurveda. This magazine's commitment is confirmed through the fact that it does not lose the sight of fact that each day all of us confront a tough, hectic scene of pollution, taking adulterated and fast food, irregular life cycle, besides facing stress related activities. Through this magazine an attempt has been made to project Ayurveda as keeping pace with this changing scenario through the write-ups of the experts in the field. Total contents of magazine are covered through following categories of articles. Ayurvedic cure for some diseases, Yoga and its therapeutic use, healing power of common herbs, health benefits of fruits, nutritional and medicinal values of various vegetables, therapeutic values of common kitchen spices. Usefulness of dry fruits for, importance of vitamins and minerals for maintaining good health, healing with naturopathy, health tips for elderly persons, diseases related to women & children, psychology of family relationship, spirituality, health quotes, laughter the best medicine etc. This magazine will prove a great asset to those who wish to seek health through natural ways by altering their life style.
