Because of wide medicinal uses of Neem from very ancient time. It is very often called "Villagers' Dispensary." From root to twig this plant is used for medicinal purpose. The Sanaskrit name 'Nimba' confines the term. It is a plant of meliaceae family and its botanical name is Azadirachta indica. Flowers These are stored/collected in blooming season only. To collect these, spread a sheat beneath the neem tree and shake the twig. The fallen flowers are collected- washed with water-dried under shed. Dried flowers can be stored in honey and taken every night to boost the immunity & boost the potency. Soaked in 100 ml. of water for at least 4 hours and if taken 2 ounce of this water per day, will cure stomach ache due to excessive pitta (Acidity) Neem Twigs In Indian subcontinent and African countries, it is used to clean teeth. It is used to cure common cold, cough, asthma, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, diabetes and high blood pressure. Neem Bark The paste of fresh bark is used on boils and pimples. The powder of dry bark is used to control fleas and ticks on pets.

There is a wide range of products available in the market which claims to reduce weight in short duration but beware of such culprits of the society. Reducing the weight in very short duration can also be very harmful. So, successful programs for weight loss reduction and maintenance should be started and followed under the care of a physician and or a nutritionist.

But stress full job conditions and sedatory life style can produce diabetes in patients having no family history of diabetes. You need to reduce your stress full work load. You must walk at least 45 minutes alongwith light to moderate exercise half of your principle meals should consist of salads like, cucumber, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, radish etc. You can take low sugar contents fruits like apple, guava, papaya etc. also along with salads. You must not take milk, curd, cheese and meat of animals developed in captivity, chilled water and fried food should also be avoided. Rather than 3 principles meals you should take 5-6 small meals.

Both, the father and the mother, should be aware of this responsibility and hence they should be prepared, physically and psychologically, to carry it. But, still, as the mother has to carry the baby in her womb, nourish it, and most importantly, give birth to the baby, more responsibility rests upon her shoulders. Ayurvedic theories recommend easily digestible and pure foods that provide nourishments to the tissues of the child and the mother. Diet The food she eats should be delicious to her. Much of the diet should be in a liquid or semi-liquid form, moist, nourishing, enriched with all the tastes and supplemented with digestive promoting plant medicines and spices which are known to increase appetite and digestive power. Ayurveda specifically mentions the following foods as healthy during all trimesters of pregnancy: rice, milk, wheat, amalaki fruit, raisins, grapes, mango, butter, ghee, and small quantities of raw sugar. Do's • Keep yourself hydrated by drinking lots of fluids, especially water. • Cabbage, Cauliflower & all long green vegetables such as Tondali, Turai, Louki, Parwal, Spinach, and Govari should be used alternately. You must keep balance, rather than eating same vegetable all the time. • Black grapes, banana, ripe mango, dates, cashew nuts, apricot are very beneficial. • Butter, clarified butter, milk, honey, fennel seeds, sweets made from jaggery rather than white sugar can be taken in limited quantity.

Too much time online can expand your waistline, a new study shows If you really want to win the weight-loss battle, learn to strike a balance — not just on your plate, but also in how you spend your free time. A new study published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research finds that people who spend more time in front of computers have a higher obesity risk, even if they think they get enough exercise during the week. The researchers surveyed 2,650 Australian adults and asked them questions about their levels of physical activity, Internet and computer use during leisure time, and other sedentary activities, such as reading, talking on the phone, playing video games, or watching television. Internet use and physical activity were divided into three categories: none, low (less than three hours per week), and high (more than three hours); sedentary activities were divided into low (less than 2.5 hours), medium (2.5 to 5 hours per week), and high (more than five hours).
